Ptah on the Hug A Thug Book Club

The Hug A Thug Book Club is a project of Academy of da Corner. As Post Newspaper publisher Paul Cobb says, we want youth to crack a book before they are booked for Crack.

We suggest persons who attend the BABA Poetry Fest and Chauncey Bailey Book Fair purchase at least two books, one for themselves and one to donate to the Post Newspaper Group for the incarcerated.

We suggest elders go into the streets and give youth a hug.

Meet Ptah at the Poetry Fest and Book Fair. Get an autographed copy of his latest book Tainted Soul, about a Black Panther who hijacked a plane to Cuba.
