Marvin X speaks at University of Houston

On Tuesday, Marvin X approaches the end of his Houston book tour with a reading and talk to Africana Studies Department students. Marvin X earned his Masters in English from San Francisco State University. He has taught at Fresno State University, UC Berkeley, UC San Diego, San Francisco State University, University of Nevada, Reno, Mills College, Laney, Merritt and elsewhere.

He presently teaches at his Academy of da Corner, 14th and Broadway, downtown Oakland.
