On Saturday, Marvin X rocked Houston's Khepera Bookstore with a reading and conversation with the audience on a variety of topics, e.g., male/female relations, reparations, mythology, spirituality, religiosity, and how to recover from the addiction to white supremacy.
Tonight, Sunday, September 16, he will appear on Anelle Williams' show Life in Focus, Pacifica station KPFT, 90.1FM, 7:30pm.
Marvin X's Houston book tour will near its end on Saturday, Sept. 22, 9pm, at the Secret Word Cafe.He will read and hold a conversation with Texas Southern University librarian emeritus Nefertari. Sheconsiders herself a student of philosophy so she is eager to have a conversation with Plato Negro.
Marvin's final Houston book signing will be at Third World Imports, Sunday, September 23, 2pm.
