Norman Brown comments on Stanley Nelson's film The Black Panthers, Vanguard of the Revolution

Keeping you in the Know!

Last night Renee James-Williams,and I sat for two hours, and watched a replay of modern American History in Black and white. If you want to know how the U S Government reacts when Black People, Poor White People, and other People of Color start coming together, You Must see this Movie (Documentary).

THE BLACK PANTHERS: VANGUARD OF THE REVOLUTION is the first feature length documentary to explore the Black Panther Party, its significance to the broader American culture, its cultural and political awakening for black people, and the painful lessons wrought when a movement derails. Stanley Nelson goes straight to the source, weaving a treasure trove of rare archival footage with the voices of the people who were there: police, FBI informants, journalists, white supporters and detractors, and Black Panthers who remained loyal to the party and those who left it
Don't miss it!

Let me know what you think.
