Donna Jackmon was Marvin X's oldest of six sisters. This pic was our last time together in
Seattle Wa at a Chinese Restaurant. My sister was a great story teller and we shall miss her
but never forget her stories we call "lies"! Surely we are from Allah and to Him we return.
Donna left behind three children, Monte, Deedra and Wendy. Her siblings include Ollie,
Marvin, Judy, Ann, Debbie, Gail, Suzy and Tommy. Many grandchildren and great grand.
Death
As I think about death
See people passing away
Don't see life the same
People or things
Come and go
The fact that I know
Understand that my flesh
Will perish
Don't know how or when
What I leave behind
Shall flourish
Mysteries unlocked while
Present
Sin captured
Inner and outer beauty
Released
All that's buried
Shall awaken
No more burdens
Truth revealed
Time heals
Life is temporary
Baggage keeps you in jeopardy
Not taking hurt, guilt, shame, bitterness
To the grave
Refuse to die
Broken to pieces
People mourning
At my funeral
Tears shed
Things that needed to be said
Time took for granted
Hovered over me
Thinking about
If only she would still be here
With me
Us
Just want to feel her touch
Love
Hear the sound of her voice again
If only and when
Will be resting in peace
Back to where it all began
Filled with happiness
Warmth, joy, acceptance
Freedom and purity
Away from it all
Cycle of life
Goes on
When death comes
Knocking at my door
Speaking life
Until there is no more
Treasure your journey
Look beyond this world
Return to that place
You once was before
See people passing away
Don't see life the same
People or things
Come and go
The fact that I know
Understand that my flesh
Will perish
Don't know how or when
